How to setup R Project User Permissions for Script Upload

We just added the R Project app to our Splunk server. We want to allow our users to upload their own R scripts w/out being Splunk admins. Which role should I use to allow this?

To upload (or update previously uploaded) scripts, the user needs to be assigned to the default admin role.

I can understand there are use cases where that is not satisfying. I'm thinking of also allowing users assigned to the power role to upload scripts.

Yes, power role would be much better in our environment. Please let us know which version will have that update so we can upgrade. Thanks!

We have the same situation. Power user role is definitely preferred.
