How does the DMC calculate load average

Hi,

How does the DMC determine load average on a server? The numbers being reported in the Resource Usage are vastly different than what is being reported at the command-line.

Which command line command did you use? top some 3rd party tool? I'm sure it's nothing wild, but just needed to make sure.

Thanks. I guess the more appropriate question is should it match (or at least be close) to what standard linux commands report, or is splunk doing something different?
