macro argument

hello

i try to create a macro with arguments but i have the message "Number of arguments provided (1) does not match with the number implied by the macro name (0)"
in the search i put this:
index="perfmon" sourcetype="Perfmon:CPU" object="$object$" and in the argument i put : object
what is the problem please??
