What is splunk gold image??

I'm trying to get the more information on creating a splunk gold image for my work splunk infrastructure, give me any answer that may help me.

Typically a gold image is a production ready image of and OS and its components. Depending on what your companies meaning of this is, it could mean a rpm or windows installer package that's already configured for your Splunk environment. Perhaps asking a colleague for guidance is a better choice.
