Using a Lookup table without a Lookup definition

Is is supported to use a lookup table in searches without creating a lookup definition?

Yes, just use filename in the lookup command.

Note that you will not be able to use any of the features provided by the lookup definition abstraction, such as case insensitivity, wildcarding and so on.
