Hi @jtran35 ,

ES isn't an easy App to install and use, so if you need to use it I suggest to follow three steps:

• find in the partner portal (Training Section) all the video tutorial on ES,
• if you have an account, go in Splunk Oxigen so you can try ES by yourself (Splunk Oxigen is available only for SE Certified people),
• Ask to your Splunk Channel Manager to organize a Demo for you.

At least, if your company pays, take Official Splunk Training on ES:
