Splunk Enterprise Setup Wizard ended prematurely

The message in my title pops up during installation. Currently running Win7 64bit. No error codes. I cannot attach a screenshot because I "need more karma." Thanks everyone!

Information gathering: Is this Splunk Enterprise 6.2.1? And are you running Windows in English? Enterprise or Trial license?

There were a handful of previous posts on this topic. Most of them will point you to this post as this was a defect seen in Splunk 6.2, so check this out to see if the solution applies to your case:

Hi, Thanks for the link. However, the link was for upgrading. I'm doing a clean install/first time install.

What Splunk version are you trying to install and are you using an English or non-English version of Windows? The issue discussed in the post found that it wasn't just an upgrade issue, but for fresh installs as well. The problem was related to both Windows fresh installations and upgrades for non-English OS's and should have been fixed in Splunk 6.2.1.
