Regarding Apache

Hi All,

Please could you let me know is there any relation ship between Apache with Splunk GUI?

Not unless you have configured it that way.
(We have a reverse proxy which is integrated via GSS API to our AD domain to provide SSO access. )

Splunk itself has a built in webserver for its UI, that I'm pretty sure is not Apache based.

If running a standard Splunk installation it does not require or start any apache processes.
