Is the license for a single Splunk instance attached to the server IP address, or can I change the IP without any risk?

Hi,

We have only one Splunk server (as license master, indexer, and search head), and we will change its IP.

Is the license that is currently installed attached to the server IP address, or can I change the IP without any risk (eg: needs to re-generate the license file for example)?

Thanks

There is no need to change your license when you change your IP address. Licenses are not attached to addresses or host names.
