Is it possible to modify the location of splunk apps?

Greetings,

Does splunk have a way to set or change the location where its apps live?

Example:

serverclass.conf lets you point splunk towards deployment apps for its deployment server component like so:

[global]

repositoryLocation=/opt/splunk/etc/apps/my_app/app_library

Can this happen for $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps?

I don’t think we can change apps default directory.
