Can't log in after installing Splunk in my Ubuntu.

Hello Team,

I have installed Splunk in my Ubuntu with localhost 127.0.0.1:8000. Earlier I could open the Splunk localhost with login details.

Now I can't log in, and it's showing me an error saying Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at  127.0.0.1:8000.

Can anyone help with this matter?

Thanks

Ram

Check splunkd process is running using ps , ps -eaf |grep -i splunk

Check status of the splunk process : SPLUNK/HOME/bin/splunk status

Check your splunkd.log and looks for any errors
