tried to install splunk on HP-UX and received following error:
/opt/instance/splunk/bin/splunk enable boot-start --accept-license
An error occurred: OS 'hp-ux' not supported just yet
Any ideas
does a regular ./splunk start work, and Splunk runs? Is it just the boot-start that fails?
perhaps you're installing an older version of Splunk? or a version of HP-UX that isn't supported?
Splunk 4.0.9 and later supports the following versions of HP-UX: HP-UX 11iv2 (11.22) and 11iv3 (11.31) (PA-RISC or Itanium)
