Info on installing Splunk over pci-e SSD?

Hi,

Has anybody installed Splunk over a pci-e SSD?
Reading the features, this kind of disk has over 1GB/s read/write access and 140.000 IOPS

I know that Splunk doesn't recommend SSD but it can be incredible the performance of Splunk with this.

Thanks,

Perpetual licenses show expiry dates in 2038, that's correct. Your license won't expire then though, it's just the end of 32-bit time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem

You can buy cheaper annual licenses as well, those expire after a year.
