Can I configure Splunk so that the URL remains masked?

Hello,
I would like to know whether it's possible to maintain the base URL to a Splunk instance throughout the user experience. For example, if my base URL is https://splunk.mydomain.com/, my app is "analytics", and my dashboard is "summary", then the URL would be:

https://splunk.mydomain.com/en-US/analytics/summary/

What I'd like to do is have it remain

https://splunk.mydomain.com/

regardless of app context. Is this possible?

This isn't something natively possible in Splunk. It may be attainable however if you use something like nginx as a proxy for Splunk.
