Add Menu To Dashboard

Hi,

in the license usage dashboard the searches can be adjusted by selecting the "pool" or "split by" menu. Is it possible to achieve something like this in usual reports or dashboards as well?

Hi HeinzWaescher,

sure, have a look at the docs about Create and edit forms with the Dashboard Editor.
You can find some examples in there as well like this one about Specify choices with dynamic options

cheers, MuS

my bad, you have to make sure to select the correct Splunk version in docs 😕 try this http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.0.3/Viz/Buildandeditforms#Static_and_dynamic_inputs_to... or any other Splunk version that matches yours

Hi MuS,

thanks for this helpful link. It says to "edit panels -> add input". I can't find this add input option...
