Hi,

What's the best way to get cpu/mem/disk info on Windows servers via Splunk. I know that there is a Windows add-on, but I'm not sure I need all that. Can it be done via the native forwarder?

Splunk can monitor Windows performance data through the inputs.conf perfmon stanza without the Splunk for Windows Infrastructure app, see http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.1.2/Data/Real-timeWindowsperformancemonitoring
