Why am I unable to install the Splunk 6.2.3 free version on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with error "setup wizard ended prematurely..."

When I start installation process, it copies files and at the end point. it starts a roll back action and gives an error

"Splunk Enterprise setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified... "

But the same installer works in a different machine with the same config. (except processor, i have intel pentium dual core, other one i7)

It should be a hardware restriction. I would guess some kind of permissions creating a folder withing %PROGRAMFILES%.. whatever.

check eventlog after the error occurs or activate msiexec logging using

msiexec /i splunk-6.2.3-264376-x64-release.msi /le* C:\splunkinstall.log

check splunkinstall.log file for errors.
