What is the Splunk universal forwarder 6.5.3 compatibility with Splunk Enterprise 8.1.9?

Hi 

I am trying to upgrade my SPLUNK environment from 7.x to 8.1.9

I want to make sure if my universal fowarder which is 6.5.3 is compatibile with 8.1.9

Hi @sureshwalmart 

Splunk UF 6.5.3 will not be compatable with Splunk Enterprise 8.1.9 

and SPLUNk UF 6.x is already end of support. 

I would suggest to SPLUNK UF upgade to 8.1x  same as Splunk enterprise and or less than one or two minor version than Splunk enterprise  UF version can be  ex: 8.1.2 or 8.1.3
