What are the deferences between DB connect and DB connect V2?

The UI is completely different, for the better methinks. Java 8 requirement with DB Connect v2+ and the latest DB connect v1 (ie v1.2.0). You'll also need a new MS SQL jdbc driver (not sure for the other db types as I don't use it).
