After an upgrade from 4.2.4 to 4.3 on Windows 2008 R2 Server (64bit) I get the following error after the login:

500 Internal Server Error
Return to Splunk home page

AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'os_startIndex'

You are using 10.41.5.22:8000, which is connected to splunkd @115073 at https://127.0.0.1:8089 on Thu Jan 19 10:43:44 2012.
