Unable to update csv file

I got this errror very often in my splunkd.log. What can solve this probolem?

11-29-2012 12:05:40.887 +0100 ERROR SearchResults - Unable to update '/opt/splunk/etc/users/username/search/history/splunk-sh.csv'; could not rename temporary file '/opt/splunk/etc/users/username/search/history/splunk-sh.csv.tmp1':  Retried 5 times, period=500 ms. error='No such file or directory'

Which version of Splunk are you seeing this in?

Its not an issue, it won't affect your system and I wouldn't be surprised if it disappears in the next release, I feel like its only appeared in one of the more recent releases. Its just related to how Splunk stores history data, not related to your ability to search or index data.

check the file splunk-sh.csv exists and you have the permission to access the same.

If that doesn't solve your problem. Try keeping the file in an another location
