Unable to receive events?

We unable to receive events on splunk server as i have install the Universal receiver on other machine and configure the port 9997 on splunk server.

HI hamza101, In addition to setting up an inputs config on the splunk server, you also need to configure outputs on the Universal receiver(forwarder) in order to tell the forwarder to send events to the splunk server.
