Unable to fetch REST endpoint

I am getting the warning message "Unable to fetch REST endpoint '/services/search/jobs' from 'https://127.0.0.1:8089' " when running the following search in the search bar in the Splunk GUI: | rest /services/search/jobs. I know the endpoint exists because I can go to the page https://theserver:8089/services/search/jobs. The Jobs manager page using the link loads very slowly....takes about 1 minute to load, but does return.

We have a distributed search environment and search head pooling as well.

Hey Sarah,

Any luck with this? I'm having a similar issue with the new Pivot functionality in Splunk 6. Any dashboard I create from a Pivot will result in this error.
