Is the procedure to create the summary indexers in the non replicated indexers differ from the replicated indexer?

The exact term is summary index, and indexer is the splunk instance that may store several indexes.
A summary index is like a regular index, the only difference is that the events are results of scheduled searches.

So the answer is probably not.
