I am using Splunk 6.5.3 ES and I don't have curl command. Does curl not ship with Splunk? If not, how I can use it? Please note that I can't install anything on sbox appliances.

Hi mjan635,

As far as I know, cURL doesn't ship with SBOX version 1.x. (Not sure if they have it at SBOX 2.x though).

You can always convert your cURL command to a Python script, and use the Python inside Splunk.

There is an online cURL to Python converter available if you are not sure how to do it: https://curl.trillworks.com/

Hope this help.

Cheers,
