REST API Reference Manual is partially incomplete - Splunk Community

Getting Data In

If possible could all the necessary parameters be provided? I have discovered upon using the API myself that some of the parameters that are available are not even listed on the site, at least for POSTing saved searches for example. I think it would be helpful for future new users.
