Making API Call to Splunk from Squarespace (splunk-sdk-JavaScript)

I’m trying to implement api calls on my website hosted on Squarespace - has anyone had any success using splunk-sdk-js making API calls from Squarespace? Any working examples?

Hi lianlim,

like in your other question about the embedded dashboards, please consider the security risks before doing such a setup!

But basically it is exactly the same as documented here https://dev.splunk.com/enterprise/docs/javascript/sdk-javascript/howtousesdkjavascript/howtoconnects... the important things here are:

• Your Squarespace instance needs to be able to connect to your Splunk instance
• Create any needed firewall, security rules to protect your Splunk instance from unauthorised access
• Set the capabilities of the Splunk user that connects to a bare minimum and only give read-only access

That should give you a starting point 😉
