We have the Splunk app for Kubernetes installed.  We are seeing container logs.  The problem is with the metrics.  I see container names and metric names, but I don't see the actual value for these metrics.  Please help!

It was Splunk Connect for Kubernetes.  This issue turned out to be an index not being set correctly as a metrics index.

Hi. There is no "Splunk app for Kubernetes"

Are you referring to Splunk Connect for Kubernetes?

If so can you please advise how you deployed and what the output of the metrics pod logs are?

Thanks!

Nice! Just to validate, the Splunk side index config (indexes.conf) was set to “dataType = metric” ?
