Hi,

Why do we use IF in Splunk cloud.

I know HF can work as IF, then why don't we call it as HF itself??

What will happen if we don't use IF?

@VijaySrrie  Splunk cloud provides IDM(Inputs Data Manager) to perform custom integrations and to perform scripted or modular inputs.

For most cases, if you have data that comes from cloud sources, you would require IDM
