Installation Error on Windows 10 64 bit

hi
I am having an Installation error on my Windows 10 64bit, while installing the .msi package. It says that a DLL that is required for the setup to complete is not running contact system administrator. Looking at the forum for answers i found an answer from 2018 which mentions installing from command prompt. I did that too but no use. Screen shots attached.

Hi @miansalmantahir,

Probably the best way forward is to enable logging:
msiexec /l*vx msiexec.log /i
And see if that gives more information. If it does not, it might be worth trying Sysinternals' Process Monitor to see if that sheds some light.

Cheers,

- Jo.

When i received this type of error i have ran the Splunk enterprise installer as admin privileges which solved my issue
And try downloading the software again from https://www.splunk.com/en_us/download/sem.html
