Getting Data In

IOSTAT How do i get Disk iops out?

rob3770
Explorer

Im hoping this is a simple one but its driving me mad!

Comparing CPU usage against Disk iops.

Using iostat as the sourcetype and the only fields are...
avgSvcMillis
avgWaitMillis
bandwUtilPct
None of these give disk iops stats, am i missing something?
Cheers

This wont give you IOPS. You'll need to look at a different tool for getting accurate results on the linux platform.. Check out bonnie++.
