How to prevent my transforms.conf been overwrited by webui

Hi,
I configured match_type = CIDR(field_name) in my transforms.conf file, and it worked fine.
But when I save changes in lookup configure page from splunk web, the match_type configuration got overwrited.

I searched a lot but found nothing help, hope someone can get me some advice.

The GUI does not expose the match_type unfortunately. You could try placing your configuration in transforms under default of your application and the gui will update the stanza in local. This might allow order of configuration precedence to not squash your match_type and remove it. https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.5.2/Admin/Wheretofindtheconfigurationfiles
