How to do FSCHANGE now? (Windows)

As I read over the 5.0 docs it seems that fschange is being depreciated. And, wouldn't you know it, just as I was able to find a production use for it.

What is the new way to do this?

Background: Validating various files for client facing web-server to check for unauthorized code deployments / changes.

You can still use fschange. Deprecated means it might be removed in a future release. There is no substitute or new way to do it at this point, and it is still in the product and unchanged in 5.0.
