Getting Data In

How to configure the universal forwarder on a windows machine?

I am trying out the SplunkEnterprise8.0.1 ForWindows free version of your product. I installed it and installed the free Splunk universal forwarder on a separate machine. However, although the forwarder installed successfully on the server on which I wanted to use it, I don’t see a user interface to configure it to forward information to the Splunk Enterprise instance on the server on which it was installed.

Based on the video https://www.splunk.com/en_us/resources/videos/splunk-education-getting-data-in-with-forwarders.html I don’t see an example to install it on a windows machine. Is there a video or steps that review this as opposed to the Linux version?
Thanks,
Roger

ideally after installing the universal forwarder you need to configure it via the splunk config files, mainly inputs.conf and outputs.conf
refer this page to know more.
