I want to know the steps on setting up Splunk in Docker container

Please find the below steps to install Docker on Redhat/CentOs:

-) yum install -y docker docker-compose

-) Check on cmd prompt : docker --version

-) groupadd docker

-) gpasswd -a (For creating a user)

Steps to install Splunk :

-) docker search splunk

Select the latest package and use below command to down load image

-) docker pull splunk/splunk:latest

-) Run the splunk docker container:
$ docker run -d -p 8000:8000 -e 'SPLUNK_START_ARGS=--accept-license' -e 'SPLUNK_PASSWORD=' splunk/splunk:latest
