How can I configure an HTTP Event Collector to send each incoming event to another rest API and ingest the event into Splunk?

I have the HTTP Event Collector ingesting data into Splunk, but I would like to send a copy elsewhere as well.

The HTTP Event Collector is only a collector, you can't program it to do other things. So you have two choices:

1 - Have the original source send multiple copies of the data.

2 - Have the original source send one copy of the data to some location where you can collect the data and then send one copy to the Splunk HEC and one copy elsewhere.
