Is there a way to host a dashboard on a website so that users can see it without logging in?

Yes, there is. you need to use an iframe and configure insecure login

If the website of my company we have a couple of demos so people can see Splunk working without logging in.

In order to have the iframe working you need to configure this in web.conf

x_frame_options_sameorigin = false
