Has anyone installed the Splunk Universal Forwarder 6.6.0 on Windows 2012 R2?

Has anyone tried to do an install with Universal Forwarder version 6.6.0? I'm trying to install using Splunk Web, and on some of my servers it hangs after I've entered the data. The last line in the splunkd-utility.txt file is "05-16-2017 14:23:43.004 -0400 WARN DC:PhonehomeThread - Phonehome thread is now shutdown." I have had the same process work on another of the servers in our environment, but this has been failing on several so far, with no idea why. Any help would be appreciated!

I was having the same issue, ended up leaving all the options blank during the install and then it managed to complete without issue. Just means you have to set set the index server, etc, manually in the conf files, but I just copied them from a working system without any issue.

I have the same issue but this time on a windows Server 2016 Standard
