Getting Data In

Error while Addding an Edge Processor

Hi,

I am test using Edge Processor (Data Management).

I have just enable Edge Processors from Data Management App on Splunk 10.0.2

I have an error while Add an Edge Processor

"There was a problem creating your new Edge Processor.Missing valid auth token" 

after click Save button

My user have 4 roles (admin, data_management_admin, data_management_agent, data_management_agent_spl2) .

What should I do?

Hi @karn 

Can you confirm if you are running Splunk with the default ports (e.g. 8000 for web UI and 8089 for REST API) ? Did you enter the correct port (8089) during the Edge Processor setup?

You are absolutely right. The web port is 8443 with SSL. I change to the port 8000 with and without SSL, it's work well. I have also tried changing to other ports. It won't work.
