Getting Data In

Error creating index

Path Finder

I created an index in splunk. After restarting I received the following error:

ERROR :: In indexes.conf, '/splunkData/dns' used multiple times, please repair before restarting splunk

An error occurred: Could not validate indexes, will not continue (returned 1).

I have not used this index before. Is there a way to repair an index?

I missed the db/colddb/thaweddb on the end of the path.
