Getting Data In

Data from Splunk Cloud to Microsoft Power Bi

I would like to explore the possibility of integrating data from Splunk Cloud into Microsoft Power BI for reporting and visualization purposes.

The goal is to enable automatic data refresh and create unified dashboards combining Splunk metrics (e.g., humidity, temperature, and event logs) with other operational data already available in Power BI.

Could you please advise on the recommended connection method, authentication setup, and any prerequisites needed to establish this link?

Thank you for your guidance.

Hi @nuzaherq

For Splunk Cloud the ODBC app options arent available as these are not Splunk Cloud Compliant. Instead you could look into using the Splunk REST API and create a custom connector in Power BI using Power Query M language to call the Splunk REST API, providing access to your metric and log data.
