Controlling use of Local Apps and Config using Deployment Server

Using Splunk Enterprise 8.2.4 on Windows and Deployment Server. Does deployment server remover all locally configured apps when it deploys one or more apps to a forwarder? If not, can this be configured. I want to use deployment server and prevent local admins at servers creating their own configs.

Hi @shockon,

if a forwarder is configured in Deployment Server as client, only the deployed apps can be installed in it, the others will be deleted.

Ciao.
