Getting Data In

Can you migrate Indexes to a new Splunk environment and give them a new name?

Hi

I'm about to migrate data from an old stand alone indexer, to a new one. Is it possible to migrate the data to indexes with a different name than the source? For example I want to move data from and existing index called 'datafeed' to an index called 'migrationdata'? The last similar question was asked in 2012 so I'm hoping that it's still possible.
