Can I specify different authentication mechanisms for the Web UI and Admin port?

I'm trying to support LDAP on the web UI and a custom authentication script for the admin port (rest api).

Is it possible to have two authentication scripts enabled at the same time? Can I configure one method for the web UI and another for the Admin port?

The Web UI (8000 by default) uses the REST API ("admin port", 8089 by default) for authentication - it's just another REST client.

You can of course specify one script in authentication.conf that in itself queries two scripts for authentication... that would apply to both the Web UI and direct REST API access though.
