Can I access the REST Sandbox REST API in the Online Sandbox?

My curl requests to online sandbox are timing out.

curl -u admin:foobar -k <sandbox_domain>:8089/servicesNS/admin/search/saved/searches/ 

Can I access the REST interface in the trial version of online sandbox? If so, what is the proper way to access the REST interface?

The REST API is now available in the Online Sandbox.

We do not currently support the rest API in the Online Sandbox. I will add this to our list of requests.
