db connect odbc connection

Hi,

I'm (still) trying to get db connect to work with db2, via odbc. Looking at the doc, do I need to create a custom database type? It's a little unclear. If not, how does db connect know which driver to use?

The current version of DBConnect does not officially support DB2. A future version of the app might provide support for DB2, but I cannot guarantee it.
