Hello, I have a question regarding the indexer cluster, can we have 2 peers hosted in different networks / sites? Of course the communication between them will be allowed I just want to verify that having them hosted in different sites will work or will it affect the cluster's performance?

Hi @dania_abujuma ,

in general you can have clustered Indexers in different networks with the only constrain that the connection between them ha a minimal garanteed bandwidth.

For more details you can see at https://help.splunk.com/en/data-management/manage-splunk-enterprise-indexers/9.1/deploy-the-indexer-...

Ciao.
