If I comment out the "enableTsidxReduction", will TSIDX be recreated?

If I comment out the following settings, will TSIDX be recreated?

enableTsidxReduction = true
timePeriodInSecBeforeTsidxReduction = 864000

The following is the contents of indexes.conf
