How to move Splunk from FreeBSD to Linux?

Hello,

One search head + one indexer running Splunk 6.2.1 build 245427 on FreeBSD 10.0-STABLE. I'm planning to move both servers to the latest Linux CentOS (along with IP addresses).

Shall I follow the standard procedure as per http://wiki.splunk.com/Deploy:Migrating_a_Splunk_Install or is there something else I should consider while moving from one operating system?

Thank you.

Should be straight forward, but use the latest documentation instead:
