Hey everyone,
I am pretty new to splunk and our organization has Upgraded Splunk enterprise version of 7.2.6 and they told me to install splunk forwarders on server(Redhat, windows) and I want to know whether splunk enterprise is already having forwarders installed if not, how are the logs getting to splunk without forwarders or indexers installed??

From your Monitoring Console, just go to link in GUI and navigate to:

http://splunkServer:8000/en-US/app/splunk_monitoring_console/forwarder_deployment

You should be able to see which all forwarders and forwarder version etc.
